David only has 6 quarters left!! There is a light at the end of the tunnel, and we are getting CLOSER!!!!!! Of course there are still so many unanswered questions right now: where to live? where to work? where to move? etc, etc, etc. We serve a mighty God that has great plans for us, and they include plans of prospering and a future, so we aren't scared!! David is still making incredible grades, and well, just trucking right along. He has officially been accepted into graduate school at Louisiana Tech and will be concurrently enrolled starting the summer of this year. Go babylove!!!
I also have to brag on Aly and Matt. They are both moving forward with their plans to further their education. Aly has a second interview tomorrow, in NYC for the graduate program that she is interested in and Matt got accepted into Columbia for the PhD program he wanted!!! It isn't finalized that they are moving to NYC, but it really looks like it!! I hope they move there.... only for selfish reasons.... so I can go visit. :) We are so proud of them and their accomplishments!!!
Ok, so this is funny, and totally unrelated to anything important... but Mom and Daddy got iPhones. It is the funniest thing ever. I am glad they are "up to speed" and all, but it still just cracks me up. I am addicted to pinterest and found this picture... I am pretty sure it could have been a conversation with my mom. Seriously. Everytime I read it, I just laugh. So, enjoy. Maybe some of you can relate as well.
February has come and gone all too quickly. Even though it is the shortest month, it seems to be the longest.... Maybe it is just my perception, who knows. I do know one of the reasons it takes so long to get through: because in March I celebrate my birthday! I have my eye on these shoes, and really hope they end up at my doorstep on March 17th. ;) We shall see.
I don't have any pressing news, or really interesting information to blog about right now. We have spent the month kind of dormant. I seem to spend more and more time in Shreveport than home, and I am getting busier by the week. I love the Junior League, and my friends. I love the weather that this 'winter' has brought us, and I love that we are getting closer to moving. :) I still absolutely, without a doubt, loathe Arcadia. I do however, love Words with Friends (and I am getting better at it) and I love pinterest. I am still knitting like crazy, and reading a book a week! We are also still juicing 2 meals a day. All the pups are alive and well. We couldn't ask for better fur babies.
Each day, I make a 'to do' list and just try and focus on the task at hand. It is all that I know to do to help David and myself get through the next 6 quarters, without overwhelming myself that it is in fact 17 months away. 6 quarters should so much shorter. God is doing amazing things in our life right now, and we honestly couldn't be more blessed. Hope each of you are doing well, and I hope to blog again before the end of March!!
