A day of thanks

This year we spent Thanksgiving at Deedee and Rich's house in Decatur, IL. We drove and took the dogs.
We really did enjoy our visit and loved having such wonderful quality time with each of them! We are going to make it a Thanksgiving tradition. :)

The view on our way up (and back) and our supervisor. He made sure we stayed on task and followed the map correctly.

The world's oldest baby (turned 4 this year) and biggest cuddle bug.

Each morning I got up and walked with these fine gentlemen.

Deedee and David "sharing a moment"

No denying these two are mother and son!

One of several apple pies I made. There definitely was NO shortage of food while we were there!

Friday morning we went to breakfast with one of Deedee and Rich's best friends. They were an absolute blast and so funny! We really enjoyed ourselves.

Deedee and me after breakfast. We were headed out to do some Black Friday shopping!

The trip was well worth the 12 hour drive. We are looking forward to next year's Thanksgiving time already!
